Regardless of Cape Town's fickle weather, the biggest attraction of this all year round indoor ski resort, is it's multi-configuration, 45m high, 610m long, 30m wide ski slope, inclusive of alternative black diamond run and dedicated toboggan slope. Covered with 2300 tons of real powder snow, manufactured under a world patented process, ensuring that Cape Town has snow 365 days a year, identical to the best naturally formed snow found on the cold mountain slopes of the traditional snow skiing venues in the Northern Hemisphere. Offering maximum satisfaction for skiing, snow boarding, snow blading, moguls and Alpine sports such as slaloms and downhill racing. The ski slope climate of -5 degrees Celsius, will match that of it's European counterparts.

Ski instructors will be on hand, and those investing in the affordable debentures will receive free tuition before the Resort opens, thereby benefiting from day one.

In an ambient temperature of 12 to 15 degrees Celcius, two ice rink surfaces - one Olympic size with seating for 5400 spectators, and a second 2/3 Olympic size, latest electronically equipped gymnasium, abseiling, squash courts, aerobics, sauna facilities and a heated swimming pool will complete the mix. For those looking for a quieter activity, the restaurants and coffee shops give you the time you need to catch your breath. And of course, to round off an exciting day of winter magic, the Apres Ski - meeting your friends at a lively pub or around a log fire.

A ski and skating shop, offering imported equipment and clothing, travel agency - when the urge to test your new skiing skills becomes too great, ski and skate hire and, of course, ATM and secure under cover parking for 1800 vehicles - designed to accommodate 4x4's with ski racks, complete the dynamic make-up of the Resort. A dedicated access card and closed circuit television systems ensure that the proper safety measures are in place for your peace of mind.

Future plans include hosting international and local Winter Sports Competitions and Ice Extravaganzas with the view of televised coverage. Locally, skiing will be introduced as an inter-school sport.
